= History =

Born to a hardworking but struggling family in a large coastal city, Kaijo's family consisted of his mother, father, and a younger brother. In order to provide for themselves and their family, Kaijo's parents struggled to keep their entrepreneurial pursuits afloat, but were barely able to bring home profits regularly. As a result, they were only able to put their oldest son through the most basic of education available, up to the age of 14. Kaijo did relatively well in school, floating between Bs and Cs constantly, while his younger brother excelled constantly -- As, and nothing else. In order to provide a better life for his brother than he knew he would face, Kaijo enlisted in a private army and sent most of his paychecks home to his parents for the next four years.

A hardworking and dutiful soldier like his parents, Kaijo served as an intelligence operative, where he gained his taste and flair for dark-colored suits, and operated in subterfuge operations for his short military career. He worked very low-level operations, in support of better and more experienced agents, and was mostly in charge of equipment and handling of explosives, where he gained his knack for sciences -- especially chemistry. At 18, after ensuring that his brother would continue his education safely, Kaijo took to university himself and gained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemistry with a minor in Kinesiology. He would continue on to earn a Master of Science degree in Chemistry.

With all this education... it's hard to imagine how he still has his eyebrows.

After submitting his application to as many educational institutions as possible, it wasn't until an interview with an interesting Persephone Aensland that he was able to secure a first-year teaching job to replace a retiring educator. With enough preparation and contemplation, he's accepted the job and is ready to begin this career.
